The Integrated Sports, Sales Lead - Sports & NHL is responsible for overseeing the sales of sports (including NHL) sponsorship campaigns across all media platforms in all markets through integrated solutions for partner (agencies and advertisers) and developing strategic opportunities.

The role will be part of the, but not limited to the Rogers Sports Sales team reporting directly to the Director, Sales - Sports & NHL. This role will also work cross-functionally to support various sales teams across Rogers Media. They must understand Sportsnet’s content, rights and how we can implement all available platforms within the boundaries of secured agreements. They must establish productive relationships with internal Sportsnet areas, including Content/Programming/Platforms, Revenue Planning and Strategy and Consumer Marketing. They should model an energetic, positive attitude that helps build and foster a “winning team” environment.

What you will be doing:
Manage all multi-platform sponsorship sales across all sports/NHL verticals
Manage the Integrated Sports Sales team to achieve revenue targets

Sponsorship Sales:
Effectively lead a team of account managers to achieve revenue targets as set by sales management
Assist with selling and execution of all multi-platform sponsorship sales including, but not limited to broadcast, digital, publishing and radio
Update and maintain all account activity, forecast sales activity and update client database and client correspondence
Liaise with Revenue Planning and Strategy, Consumer Marketing and Platforms to ensure alignment on all revenue targets
Assist in campaign renewal process; providing feedback, initiatives, campaign history, reports and analysis of sports integrated multi-platform campaigns
Identify and provide upsell opportunities on current and upcoming campaigns across all media platforms Be accountable for revenue commitments and sales targets
Assist in developing/maintaining/executing sales strategies
Research prospective clients, market and competitive business analysis
Assist in obtaining new business accounts to sports and NHL properties

Client Management:
Respond to agency & client inquiries regarding integrated sports sales and sponsorships
Liaise with clients and external stakeholders on sales status/execution while providing accurate updates and feedback
Host client events (as needed) to strengthen relations and seek new business opportunities

Reporting and Analysis:
Track revenue of all active/executed sponsorship campaigns (client, cost, annual increase, content/deliverables and etc.)
Provide detailed post campaign summaries and analysis and identifying renewal or upsell opportunities

Post-secondary degree or diploma
5-6 years of related work experience in a sales project management capacity
Knowledge of MS Office applications
Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Overtime hours may be required
May be subject to frequent interruptions
