POSITION TITLE: Account Manager NB/PE (Atlantic)

JOB STATUS: Full-time

ESTABLISHMENT: Boucherville – Bureau des ventes et administration

Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, Foodservice – Atlantic, the incumbent’s primary

responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Promote and sell the Olymel product line under the national brands and/or private labels to NB/PE food distributors, regional accounts and priority accounts
  • Build business and sales plans (volume, profitability, product opportunities, promotional plan, etc.) for each customer with sales targets by product category, and monitor monthly
  • Manage and communicate current market studies by product and category and define opportunities for each customer (Direct Link reference data, NPD/Crest, etc.)
  • Negotiate mutual agreements with key distributors for national brands and/or private labels while maintaining an understanding of the company's challenges and corresponding strategic orientations
  • Monitor budgets allocated each key account
  • Carry out monthly or quarterly sales reviews and track each customer's sales performance and contribution with a specific plan of action to correct anomalies or stimulate sales
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers in order to know and understand their strategic business orientations so as to build a joint strategy for our products
  • Ensure that commitments made to the company by each account are respected in close collaboration with the Finance, Logistics and Transport Department (volume, price discounts, monetary commitment, promotional plan, etc.)
  • Maintain constant communication internally to help manage distributors daily operations
  • Responsible for the performance of categories and products for each customer according to results and adopted strategies
  • Responsible for coordinating and introducing new products both in-house (R&D, labelling, forecasting, etc.) and with key distributors
  • Prepare submissions and do necessary financial analysis
  • Attend all food shows and rep trainings
  • Attend end user business reviews for priority A customers
  • Travel within NB/PE with sales reps to essential priority accounts
  • Communicate with all key people within all distributors, regional chains and priority accounts

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor of Business Administration or other relevant field or 5 year’s experience in sales and experience dealing with food distributors, regional chains and priority accounts
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, AS400)
  • Above average communication, time and priority management skills
  • Excellent analytical and financial capacities so as to make quick and informed decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding dynamics and team spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal skills so as to establish and maintain good business relations with customers
  • Bilingualism would be considered an asset
