The Digital Ad Operations Manager will be responsible for managing digital advertising processes and optimizations. The candidate will be proficient with ad serving platforms including DoubleClick Campaign and Bid Manager, AdWords, DFP, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics. He/she will have experience trafficking ads and troubleshooting, Quality Assurance, for a variety of digital at formats ranging from standard banners to video. The candidate will be responsible for managing Air Canada’s global ad operations.
  • Responsible for the set-up, management and optimization of digital display, search, SEM, and video campaigns.
  • Manage all aspects of digital ad campaigns, including trafficking, campaign optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with campaign managers to ensure all deadlines are met, and all assets have passed QA.
  • Ensure that all ads being trafficked meet the needs of the reporting and analytics team.
  • Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding inventory management and best practices for ad performance.
  • Establish and implement digital ad operations best practices to disseminate with internal and external teams.
  • Work with vendors and agency partners to ensure all stakeholder’s requirements are met, and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and stay educated on the new developments in digital ad operations.
  • Knowledge of specs across various ad formats to be able to provide creative teams.
  • University or post-secondary education required
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital ad operations.
  • High level of proficiency with Doubleclick Campaign and Bid Manager, Google and Adobe Analytics, display and video ad solutions, and other ad core technology.
  • Strong working knowledge of entire Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Experience and ability to traffic and manage dynamic ad formats
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
