The Product Distribution Centre is a full-service inventory management and distribution facility established for use by government ministries, crown corporations, government-funded organizations, and federal and municipal governments. The Pharmacy Services Unit has the prime responsibility to provide drugs and medications to these organizations, manage customer portfolios and ensure the economic viability of the Product Distribution Centre.

The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing, distributing prescription drugs, narcotics and controlled drugs, O.T.C. drugs and sundries and providing superior customer service. Provides drug information to the PDC clients including home care nursing, extended care facilities, Ministry of Justice (Corrections Branch) and other PDC customers.

In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

• Graduation from a recognized School of Pharmacy and licence in good standing with BC College of Pharmacists.

• 2 years in a Canadian community or Canadian hospital pharmacy dispensing service function.

• Demonstrated experience building effective working relationships with customers and medical professionals

Preferred Experience:

• Experience providing services to long term care facilities / group homes

• Experience distributing methadone AND suboxone to clients

• Experience working with an automated methadone dispensing unit (such as Methameasure)
