Job Description

Heinz Wattie's proudly produces a vast variety of fresh, frozen and ambient food products every year for consumers of all ages and stages, for every meal occasion and every season, making it a staple in New Zealand household's. For us to continue our long-held success in the hearts and minds of New Zealander's, our Territory team is critical to our success, and here's where you come in.

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious, driven and intelligent sales person to manage the Hamilton and Coromandel territory, if you are looking to make the next step in your career please read on.

The role:

  • Building strong relationships and having the flair for creating win-win outcomes
  • Implement shelf relays on time and according to strategy
  • Lead, develop and mentor merchandising team
  • Meet and exceed individual and business sales targets
  • Efficiently managing your territory and applying your energy to grow the business
  • Driving distribution and shelf space for products in store

What you need:

  • Proven ability building professional relationships and strong sales skills
  • Tertiary qualifications preferred
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a team and work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • A skilled negotiator and problem solver with a 'can do' approach to solving problems
  • Experience in a similar role highly regarded
  • Ambition to build a long term career
