Inside Technical Sales Lower Mainland

WIE represents top tier manufactures of industrial pumps, instrumentation, valves & automation, motor & VFD equipment and service industries such as mining and metal, pulp and paper, oil and gas, chemical, water & wastewater, and many more.


Western Industrial has an opening for an Inside Sales Representative. This position is be based in the lower mainland. The successful candidate will be a sales professional who reflects WIEs corporate commitment to being responsive to their Clients needs. They thrive in a fast paced environment and eagerly work closely with the outside sales team as well as other departments. They are technical by nature with an ability to build long term relationships with internal and external Clients.

Skills:

Displays the type of personality that can easily and clearly communicate an amiable and likeable personae over the telephone
Is motivated by generating sales and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each and every Client interaction there by optimizing income.
Has a proven ability to advance the sales call to the end and has a high closure rate.
Builds knowledge base by using their initiative and technical experience to properly communicate the technology to the Client.
Displays an outgoing personality and initiates conversations during networking opportunities.
Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming Client objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.
Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales with an understanding that the sales process starts in the first minute of contact.
Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate department.
Effectively communicates with all departments to ensure complete Client satisfaction.
Responds to miscellaneous requests/inquiries, especially those related to warrantee items and service related issues.


Qualifications:

Minimum 2+ years experience in inside sales in a technical role. Product specific training will be provided.

Good oral and written communication skills in English are a must.
Proficient with MS Office.
A Work Hard Play Hard approach to work and life.
Displays a love for life long continuous learning and development.
